Pensive seeks to transform the way people conceive of, manage and use information. We will challenge the paradigm in which information is "passive" and ready to be exploited as a commodity by third parties, beyond the control of the information's owners. We will promote a new paradigm - information asset management - in which information is transformed into valuable assets for the information's real owners who recognise it as such and they alone should be able to exploit that value as they see fit. Thoughtful Solutions
There are several distinct features of our solutions: they build and manage an "information map" of key information "topics" - about any subject that is important to them, for example as set out in a company's Business Plan, irrespective of any underlying information or document systems. With the continued sharp rise in the volume of data with which we are all confronted on a daily basis, such an "information map" provides a powerful means of keeping a high-level view across any organization's or individual's "information territory".
